The Omega 3 in flax seed oil increases serotonin and dopamine levels in men and women. The apple juice compliments the nutty flavor of the flax oil, allowing you to take enough oil to be beneficial and therapeutic. No more need to spend allot of money on expensive Flax or Omega 3 pills! This method is a wonderful alternative to antidepressant drugs for adults, teens and children. Research shows that Omega 3 can thin the blood, but less than aspirin, so seek medical advice if this could be a problem for you, or conflict with medications you are taking. You will find useful information and studies on Omega 3 and Flax Oil in the ARTICLES section of this website.

Some Easy To Make Recipes

Always buy refrigerated, cold pressed flax oil with the highest lignin. Keep it  refrigerated and make sure to shake up the bottle before pouring. None clear, natural apple juice works best to break down the oil.

- Pour 1 to 4 tablespoons of FLAX SEED OIL in a half glass of apple juice and stir occasionally.

- Get a small bottle of apple juice. Put 1 to 4 tablespoons of FLAX OIL in it and SHAKE VIGOROUSLY (shake it up a few times while drinking). This works best with lower quality / worst tasting flax oil.

- Take 1 to 4 tablespoons of high quality FLAX SEED OIL, followed by a sip of apple juice.

What's Wrong With Antidepressants?

They have many undesirable side effects and are dangerous for teens, children and some adults. Many teens and children have depression and antidepressant may be prescribed to them, but many times, kids under 18 will not be prescribed antidepressants because of the damaging side effects. So there only means of treatment is therapy, which does not address chemical imbalances in the body. The Omega 3 in flax oil does by increasing serotonin and dopamine. In fact most men who are depressed have a dopamine imbalance and most women have a serotonin imbalance.
